TUSCALOOSA, Alabama (Telemundo Birmingham) - Un segundo hombre fue arrestado en relación con el tiroteo ocurrido después de una fiesta comunitaria en Tuscaloosa, que dejó a siete personas heridas, incluidas menores de edad.
La Unidad de Crímenes Violentos de Tuscaloosa (VCU) anunció el martes el arresto de Kemarkus Antonio Allen, de 22 años. Allen enfrenta siete cargos de agresión en primer grado y también recibió una orden por una violación de libertad condicional relacionada con un cargo previo de recibir propiedad robada en segundo grado.

La Policía de Tuscaloosa recibió una llamada alrededor de las 10:48 p.m. sobre varias personas baleadas en el área de 21st Street, cerca de Faith Refuge Apostolic Church of God. Un oficial que se encontraba cerca, brindando seguridad para el evento, respondió en cuestión de segundos. Las autoridades describieron la escena, que se extendía por varias cuadras, como caótica.
Siete personas resultaron heridas y fueron trasladadas a UAB Hospital y Children’s of Alabama. Las víctimas tienen entre 12 y 40 años. Según documentos relacionados con el caso, un menor de 12 años recibió un disparo en la espalda, una víctima de 14 años fue herida en la cabeza y una persona de 17 años recibió un disparo en el pecho.
Las autoridades creen que hubo varios tiradores, aunque todavía no han determinado cuántos.
